Unlike many urban radio listeners, the QRM didn&#8217;t chase him away from the hobby, rather he looked at\u00a0it as a challenge. Besides taking his radio kit <a href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/london-shortwave-refines-his-tablet-based-portable-sdr\/\" target=\"_blank\">outdoors<\/a> to escape the noise, he also has a noise mitigation\u00a0set-up at his home which has been refined over the years.<\/p>\n<p>London Shortwave shared <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZOj1VX49FG4\" target=\"_blank\">this video<\/a>\u00a0demonstration\u00a0earlier this year on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC8106g7wAY7XnT-PbMNH36Q\" target=\"_blank\">his YouTube channel<\/a>.
