Those of you who watched TX Factor Episode 9<\/a>, no doubt noted the enthusiasm of Clive Ward, G1EUC of the\u00a0Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sadly, I’ve just learned that he passed away on September 4th, after the publication of the TX Factor episode that featured him so prominently.\u00a0TX Factor<\/a> updated their website with the following note:<\/p>\n

“Since the launch of this show, we have heard the sad news of the passing of Clive Ward G1EUC. Clive is a major contributor in this episode, and all who watch the programme cannot fail to be impressed by his passion and dedication to the hobby of amateur radio over many years.<\/p>\n

We at TX Factor send our condolences to Clive’s family, friends and colleagues at this sad time.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

CARS has also posted this Silent Key page in memory of Clive<\/a>.<\/p>\n
