It’s Thanksgiving<\/a> here in the States–without a doubt, my favorite<\/em> holiday. \u00a0What’s not to love about family, feasting, and, of course, friends? To that end:<\/p>\n

I’d like to take a moment to offer my thanks\u00a0to\u00a0all<\/em> of you who read, comment, and otherwise contribute to the SWLing Post<\/em> community. You make this a terrific\u00a0place for everything\u00a0radio! Thank you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And on the topic of radio\u2013while anticipating a\u00a0wonderful Thanksgiving meal\u2013I’m reminded of this video<\/a>\u00a0I recently viewed. \u00a0Evidently, some form of native wildlife\u2013and suspicion rests upon a number of\u00a0industrious squirrels and woodpeckers\u2013decided that a radio microwave antenna in Bear Creek would be an excellent\u00a0place to stash a few acorns and other winter\u00a0nuts.<\/p>\n

So\u2013just for fun\u2013here’s what it looked like when the field engineers\u00a0cleaned out the microwave antenna cover:<\/p>\n
