Mehdi notes some of the details about the receiver:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[The WebSDR\u00a0is]\u00a0installed and operated by our amateur club: EP2C (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ep2c.ir\" target=\"_blank\">www.ep2c.ir<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>[Perhaps]\u00a0the first WebSDR in the Middle East (the nearest one I know of is located at Armenia).\u00a0We have a dipole antenna and an AVALA SDR receiver (going to be replaced by a SoftRock).<\/p>\n<p>For the moment, it just covers 20 meter band, but we may increase the coverage to 30 and 40 meters too.<\/p>\n<p>The server and antenna are all in EP2C club\u2019s office (Karaj\/Iran).\u00a0Iran\u2019s timezone is GMT+03:30.<\/p>\n<p>Because of our bandwidth limitations, the total number of simultaneous users is limited to 10 (will try to increase it in the future).<\/p>\n<p>Our WebSDR address: <a href=\"http:\/\/websdr.ir:34567\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/websdr.ir:34567<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Thank you for the announcement, Mehdi!
