Radio Casablanca only pops up a few times a year, so I always feel fortunate to grab the broadcast\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/tag\/radio-casablanca\">click here to listen to previous recordings<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Signal strength varied over the course of the broadcast and the bands were quite noisy&#8211;still, the Casablanca signal punched through quite well at times.<\/p>\n<p>Close your eyes and imagine what it must have been like to hear the great bands of the era over the shortwaves\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/download\/RadioCasablanca6.94MHz19APRIL2016\/RadioCasablanca-6.94MHz-19APRIL2016-.mp3\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to download an MP3 of the full recording<\/a>, or simply listen via the embedded player below.
