Comment Deadline: August 11, 2016<\/p>\n

The FCC\u2019s Technological Advisory Council (TAC), an advisory group to the FCC operating under the\u00a0Federal Advisory Committee Act, is investigating changes and trends to the radio spectrum noise floor to\u00a0determine if there is an increasing noise problem, and if so, the scope and quantitative evidence of such\u00a0problem(s), and how a noise study should be performed. In this public notice, the Office of Engineering\u00a0and Technology (OET) announces the TAC\u2019s public inquiry, seeking comments and answers to questions\u00a0below for the TAC about radio spectrum noise.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s at least encouraging that the FCC is investigating radio noise\/interference–a serious issue\u00a0for radio enthusiasts. Note that the comment deadline is August 11, 2016.<\/p>\n
