The changes\/updates in the model are likely only cosmetic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/grundigExecutive_TIII_FRONT_0.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23726\" src=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/grundigExecutive_TIII_FRONT_0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/grundigExecutive_TIII_FRONT_0.jpg 604w, https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/grundigExecutive_TIII_FRONT_0-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I love\u00a0the leather cover on the new Executive version, though I wish the antenna could be extended with the cover in place. Seems to me if the leather cover were designed to fold open from the top down (from the front of the radio) instead of bottom up, it would have remedied this problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I believe the Traveler III, in general, is an <em>excellent<\/em> little portable&#8211;certainly a proper ultralight MW DX machine (<a href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/gary-debocks-2015-ultralight-radio-shootout-review\/\">check out how it scored in Gary DeBock&#8217;s comparison<\/a>).
