Halley VI: The British Antarctic Survey’s new base (Source: British Antarctic Survey)<\/p><\/div>\n

On Wednesday, 21 June 2017, the BBC World Service<\/a> officially transmitted the 2017 BBC Antarctic Midwinter Broadcast<\/strong>\u2013an international radio broadcast intended for a small group of scientists, technicians, and support staff who work for the British Antarctic Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is one of my favorite annual broadcasts, and I endeavor to listen every year<\/a>. Once again, the\u00a0SWLing Post<\/em> called upon readers to make a short recording of the broadcast from their locale.<\/p>\n
