Mike noted:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Here in Texas, we&#8217;re still dealing with the impact of hurricane Harvey.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/KTRH.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-27803\" src=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/KTRH-300x138.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/KTRH-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/KTRH.jpg 331w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>[&#8230;]The absolute best hurricane information came from AM 740 KTRH Houston. A 50,000 Watt AM transmitter that covers a major portion of the gulf coast.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m learning that the Corpus Christi AM news station was evacuated and secured operations. KTRH kicked in and served the listening public very well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t heard from Mike in a couple of days and, since then, Harvey has caused unprecedented levels of flooding in south Texas.
