Sadly, we learned of Anthony Bourdain\u2019s death on the day that we recorded this episode.<\/p>\n<p>Ice Radio is the latest iteration of a radio station that began more than 50 years ago at McMurdo Station. Our guest Elizabeth Delaquess is a Broadcast Engineer at McMurdo Station in Antarctica, working at both the radio and television stations there.
