I&#8217;ve just discovered a studio recording of the entire broadcast on Soundcloud, via a <em>Post<\/em> reader tip.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve embedded a Soundcloud audio player below, <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/user-25048993\/kmts-winter-test-transmission-9670-khz-17122020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">but you can also listen via Soundcloud<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"KMTS Winter Test Transmission 9670 kHz 17.12.2020 by KMTS\" width=\"625\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F950217538&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxheight=938&#038;maxwidth=625\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll admit that this broadcast had a lot of listeners <a href=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2020\/12\/ktms-test-transmission-december-17-2020\/#comment-657562\">scratching their heads<\/a>&#8211;a bit of a mystery. Reminded me, to some degree, of the <a href=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2013\/08\/pirate-radio-recordings-bochf-radio-boards-of-canada-hf\/\">Boards Of Canada pirate radio broadcasts<\/a> some years ago, and <a href=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2013\/04\/boards-of-canada-puzzle-shortwave-numbers\/\">the mystery surrounding a BoC album release<\/a>. Also reminded me on one of my all-time favorite pirate radio stations: <a href=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2012\/04\/pirate-radio-recordings-radio-strange-outpost-no-7\/\">Radio Strange Outpost<\/a>. But, of course, this wasn&#8217;t a pirate station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I know this: I absolutely <em>LOVE<\/em> the KMTS test broadcast!<\/strong> What fun! Kudos to the producer (or producers)! I&#8217;ll add this to the Shortwave Radio Audio Archive.
