You can send one self-powered shortwave radio to a classroom or community in the third world for as little as a <a title=\"ETOW\" href=\"http:\/\/earstoourworld.org\" target=\"_blank\">$40<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Change.org\" href=\"http:\/\/www.change.org\/petitions\/ministers-of-heritage-public-safety-and-the-cbc-stop-dismantling-canada-s-only-int-l-broadcasting-site-rci-sackville\" target=\"_blank\">Sign the petition to keep RCI Sackville from being dismantled<\/a>&#8211;Senator Hugh Segal is in the process of <a title=\"Senator Segal\u2019s motion receives unanimous vote: special committee enquiry into RCI cuts\" href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2012\/12\/senator-hugh-segal-has-issued-this-statement-on-the-unanimous-vote-in-the-senate-to-have-a-special-committee-enquiry-into-the-cbc-decision-to-slash-the-rci-budget-by-80-per-cent\/\" target=\"_blank\">holding the CBC accountable<\/a> for slashing RCI&#8217;s budget.
