Hi to all SWLing Post community. Here’s news of what Imaginary Stations<\/strong> will be bringing to the ionosphere this weekend.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the services of Shortwave Gold<\/span><\/strong><\/a> we have a few programmes this week coming.\u00a0The first show is WWLS – “We Love Shortwave”<\/strong>. It’s a show all about what we all love, shortwave radio! Standby for sounds of the shortwave, music containing shortwave samples and a live debut of Twelve Mega Hurts, the ham radio choir from Cleveland (*subject to availability and atmospheric conditions).<\/p>\n

The schedule for the show is on Saturday 25th April <\/strong>at 1100 hrs UTC<\/strong> on 6160 kHz <\/strong>and then again on Sunday 26th April<\/strong>\u00a0at 0900\/1300 UTC <\/strong>on 6160 kHz <\/strong>and 2000 hrs <\/strong>on 3975 kHz\/6160 kHz. <\/strong>Get your (shortwave) set set, and tune in!<\/p>\n

Then on Monday 27th April<\/strong> (and repeated on May 4th) at 20:00 UTC <\/strong>on 3975 kHz\/6160 kHz, <\/strong>we have a new Monday evening slot with a special called “Skybird Soul on Shortwave”<\/strong>. Expect all sorts of great soul tunes from old to new, soul classics and lots of “one’s that got away”.<\/p>\n

There’s an extra hour of WWLS – “We Love Shortwave”<\/strong> on WRMI<\/span><\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday 29th April 2026 <\/strong>at 0200 UTC on 9395 kHz. <\/strong>Same subject as the shows on Shortwave Gold but different content.<\/p>\n
