Hi to all SWLing Post community. Here’s news of what Imaginary Stations<\/strong> will be bringing to the shortwaves this week.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the services of Shortwave Gold<\/span><\/strong><\/a> we have the first episode of Radio 250<\/strong>. It’s all about celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States. There are two wonderful shows lined up with all sorts of genres of music celebrating that fact and bringing you a bit of a musical history lesson. The schedule for the show is on Saturday 30th May <\/strong>at 1100 hrs UTC<\/strong> on 6160 kHz <\/strong>and then again on Sunday 31st May<\/strong>\u00a0at 0900\/1300 UTC <\/strong>on 6160 kHz <\/strong>and 2000 hrs <\/strong>on 3975 kHz\/6160 kHz. <\/strong>Tune in for our shortwave audio salute to the United States of America!<\/p>\n

On WRMI<\/span><\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 <\/strong>at 0200 UTC <\/strong>on 9395 kHz <\/strong>we have the first of\u00a0WHFM \u2013 Herman’s Radio and Record Room.<\/strong> This is a series of programmes recorded by DJ Frederick Moe<\/strong> in memory of his father Herman (1919-2001) and feature mid-century sounds including country, jazz, folk and easy listening.<\/p>\n
