The special shortwave broadcasts are intended for listeners in Europe and North Africa and will air every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from August 7\u201330, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The broadcasts details:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>15145 kHz from 1700\u20131730 UTC<\/li>\n<li>11850 kHz from 1730\u20131800 UTC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>RTI notes that the second frequency has been changed from 11995 kHz to 11850 kHz after listeners reported persistent interference on 11995 kHz during the German Service&#8217;s July transmissions. The French Service also thanks listeners who helped verify the suitability of the new frequency.<\/p>\n<p>Listeners who send reception reports to fren@rti.org.tw will receive a special QSL card commemorating these August transmissions.<\/p>\n<p>Below is the original announcement in French:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Ch\u00e8re auditrice, cher auditeur,<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Le service fran\u00e7ais de Radio Ta\u00efwan International est heureux de vous rappeler que, durant le mois d\u2019ao\u00fbt 2026, nous proc\u00e9derons \u00e0 une diffusion directe depuis le centre de transmission de Tamsui, dans le nord de Ta\u00efwan, vers l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Afrique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00c0 cette occasion, notre programme en fran\u00e7ais sera diffus\u00e9 en ondes courtes tous les vendredis, samedis et dimanches du 7 au 30 ao\u00fbt.
