The programming includes local and international news, analysis, practical information, and features on human rights and disinformation.<\/p>\n<p>Yet another powerful reminder of why shortwave radio remains so important. Unlike internet and cellular networks, shortwave can reach across borders without relying on local communications infrastructure\u2014and a simple battery-powered receiver can be enough to access it.
