I just received my paper copy of the C.Crane catalog in the mail and noticed an announcement for their latest shortwave portable, the CC Skywave.<\/p>\n

Here is the catalog description:<\/p>\n

“The Skywave is the ultimate travel radio\u00a0with great AM\/ FM, Shortwave, Aviation\u00a0and Weather. Performance is excellent\u00a0and it is small and easy to use.<\/p>\n

Stuck at the airport and nobody will tell\u00a0you why? How about using a radio to\u00a0tune into the control tower or the\u00a0ground crew? If you are a bit paranoid it\u00a0is good to know that nobody can track\u00a0your radio listening!<\/p>\n

Using a smart phone in another country\u00a0is very expensive. With this radio you\u00a0will learn more about the country you\u00a0are in and the wonderful programs they\u00a0have to offer.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I hope to get a radio for review as soon as production units begin to ship in January. I’m always looking for the ultimate travel radio.<\/p>\n
