I&#8217;m very impressed with the performance, especially for a $25 radio (normally, these sell at retailers for $50.00 US).<\/p>\n<p>Features include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> FM\/MW\/SW\/LW<\/li>\n<li>Auto\/manual tuning<\/li>\n<li>Auto Tuning Storage (ATS) function (on FM, this will auto-populate memory slots with available stations)<\/li>\n<li>Digital tuning with digital frequency readout (LCD)<\/li>\n<li>Local timer setting + world timer settin<\/li>\n<li>Sleep timer &amp; alarm clock (either radio or buzzer<\/li>\n<li>Snooze<\/li>\n<li>Key lock function<\/li>\n<li>3.5 mm headphone output<\/li>\n<li>DC jack &#8211; 6V<\/li>\n<li>Comes with warranty, manual and a nice travel case<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of course, with a radio in this price class, there are some compromises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No single-side band.<\/li>\n<li>There is muting between frequency changes, so while tuning you will notice a slight &#8220;chug&#8221; sound.<\/li>\n<li>No manual gain control.<\/li>\n<li>Speaker is small, though audio (as with many Grundig portables) is quite impressive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At $25 US, this is a no-brainer.
