For exhibitors, it&#8217;s the slowest day of the weekend (Saturday is the busiest).<\/p>\n<p>My voice is hoarse from speaking with so many people&#8211;it&#8217;s been great! Many thanks to the <em>SWLing Post<\/em> readers who stopped\u00a0by our booth to talk radio.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, I&#8217;m listening <em>Pacific Break<\/em> on <em>Radio Australia<\/em>\u00a0with my buddy Eric McFadden while we eat breakfast and prepare to leave. I started listening to RA on my Tecsun PL-310ET and Eric (of course) brought out his Sony ICF-SW7600G and AN-LP1 for comparison. A little radio fun before the craziness yet to come.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/photo-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9654\" src=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/photo-11.jpg\" alt=\"Sony ICF-SW7600G and Tecsun PL-310ET\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/photo-11.jpg 480w, https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/photo-11-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/photo-11-75x100.jpg 75w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not staying in a hotel this year, and we have much quieter conditions for SWLing. Eric, <a title=\"Eric remembers SWLing while deployed in Abu Dhabi\" href=\"http:\/\/swling.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/eric-remembers-swling-while-deployed-in-abu-dhabi\/\" target=\"_blank\">as a I mentioned in a previous post<\/a>, is retired from the Ohio Air National Guard; this year, he was\u00a0fortunate enough to secure us a &#8220;TLF&#8221; (Temporary Lodging, Family) on <em>Wright Patterson Air Force Base<\/em>. Our TLF is a\u00a0three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with a living room, laundry room, outdoor patio, yard and is surrounded by acres of green space. It&#8217;s about half the price of a local hotel, so we feel most grateful!
