The French department of KBS has sent me the postage stamp issued on October 19, 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of KBS – Korean Broadcasting System – a department with which I have maintained close relations for over 25 years as the station’s official monitor.

I’ve been interested in Philately all my life, almost 70 years and have never lost the enjoyment. As a primarily US stamp collector it spurred my love of history, scientific, geographic and other disciplines. I still have a full sheet mounted and framed of the 1964 5 cent Amateur Radio commemorative stamp prominently displayed in my shack along with occasionally picking up a new first day cover sold at Hamvention.
