Many thanks to SWLing Post contributor, Mark Hirst, who writes:
Thomas,
K-dramas with Korean subtitles can be a useful form of language immersion, so I recently came across this comedy sitcom on YouTube.
In this clip, we see Winter, Karina, and Giselle of the K-pop girl group Aespa.
Behind them are what appears to be a Beomaster 900M and a Philips
Philetta.
Mark
You’ve got sharp eyes, Mark! Thank you for sharing.
I can’t listen to Aespa songs on shortwave anymore since Trump and Elmo shut down the transmitters used by KBS.
You can tell a devoted SWL’er when there are pretty girls trying to attract everyone’s attention and they’re looking at the background trying to figure out what radios are there.
Hello,
Thanks to Google Lens …
The “green” receiver should be a Philips Philetta B3F receiver (1958)
The other, a Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 900 receiver (1964 – 1970)
