The folks at WWCR in Tennessee are transmitting the show for the fourth week running at 01:00 UTC Sunday 8th (Saturday evening 7th local in US) on 6115 kHz.

This change is in order to further improve reception in the US and Canada still further and move Encore to Saturday afternoon (local) in the US.

A clarinet Trio by Brahms, some of a string quartet by Beethoven – his last one – the 13th, and some singing from 12th century France.  We’ve more clarinet from Mozart – to compare and contrast with the Brahms, and then two lieder from Schubert’s Winterreise – performed by Fischer-Dieskau and Alfred Brendel.  The contemporary composer Meredith Monk does something extraordinary with a few instruments and the human voice before we finish with La Péri by Paul Dukas.
