Wantok Radio Light is a Christian Radio Station operating in Papua New Guinea. We broadcasts 24 hours, seven days a week on 93.9 FM in Port Moresby, 105.9 FM in other provinces and short wave on 7325 kHz throughout PNG and overseas. Papua New Guinea Christian Broadcasting Network operates as Wantok Radio Light. It is a non-profit, non-commercial Christian ministry. Its operation is supported by faithful listeners Christians and corporate organizations who share the ministry’s vision and mission.
Our main duty is proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ throughout the airwaves in order for our listeners to be saved, encouraged and blessed. We do this through our daily broadcasting of preaching and teaching programs, radio drama and gospel music

I wonder how recent this Radio Wantok Light QSL / contact information is? I thought the station had been off the air for some time. The last reported logging of it in the April 2018 edition of the Domestic Broadcasting Survey (DSWCI) was in May of 2016, and another search I did on a DX group’s web site shows the most recent logging there as February 2016. If this one’s back on the air, I’d like to hear about it!
Radio Wantok Light was always a fun DX catch; I have a recording of their 2005 inaugural broadcast posted on The Shortwave Radio Audio Archive: https://shortwavearchive.com/archive/inaugural-shortwave-broadcast-of-wantok-radio-light-papua-new-guinea-june-11-2005?rq=wantok This recording was made during a Grayland, WA USA DXpedition.
Acording to an email received from Wantok Radio Light, they will be on air again on October 6, 2018.
“We have been off for a while but will resume our shortwave broadcast on October 6, 2018. Please tune in on October 6 to pick up Wantok Radio light on 7325kHz. We would appreciate your confirmation on or after October 6, 2018.”
