Many thanks to SWLing Post contributor, Troy Riedel, who shares the following quick reference sheet with all of the Tecsun PL-368’s hidden features:

Thank you so much for creating and sharing this useful chart, Troy!
As of 12-20-21 I’m ordering the 386 from Anon in New Jersey with the latest firmware. Does this chart apply to the 3684 firmware version? Also, does anyone know if the internal ferrite rod is vertical or horizontal in relation to the case?
Thanks!
The ferrite rod antenna is actually horizontal but an external and plugs into the top of the unit. I compared my PL-368 against my buddies PL-880 and my radio stomped his in terms of MW reception. Almost always 6-8 db more gain in every station we tested.
Good to know, thank you! I should be getting my PL368 tomorrow, and look forward to putting it through its paces. Thank you for the handy, useful information!

Very helpful..
How do you do that on the original Degen? I still have mine and use it.
Huh that’s really cool being able to use the telescopic whip for LW MW. As odd as it may sound that was a really useful hidden trick on the non-DSP Degen 1103 as well and at times pulled better reception than the internal loopstick.
If there was a way to unlock tuning this thing down to the VLF range as well it would be perfect.
