Thanks for the tip, Adrian!
4 by 4 signal with moderate noise (QRN) floor @ 23:30 UTC. QTH – SW OH. Receivers:
Tecsun PL-880 with 7-m long wire antenna & CountyComm GP-5/SSB with 4-m long wire antenna.
There was less voice distortion (i. e., more naturally sounding) on the GP-5.
Absolutely blasting into Masset, BC (200 km due south of Ketchikan AK) and still going at 02:58 UTC. Amazing reception! Like a local! Full ID at 02:59, then into a probable live ID (over time pips) and muchas gracias, then OC.
Solid S-1 signal into far N.E. Wisconsin. Very low noise. No fade out. Using a JRC NRD 535 receiver and a 160 foot N/S long wire. Latin music. 23:52 utc
I’m picking up it via Argentina websdr…. Gary in Minnesota
Hearing a strong signal on 15476 USB. Two men back & forth in Spanish. Sounds like two different xmtrs, since one is weaker than the other and has a hum on it. Mention of Argentina just before 2300. Art Delibert, Maryland.
Coming in good now at 01:43 on 15476 USB playing Spanish music on my tecsun h 501x with 80 ft longwire. I sent in a reception report……wow this is awesome ?? Gary in Minnesota
