I’ve got Texas Radio Shortwave now at 0128 on 5950 AM. I am in Central Texas, and the signal was very faint when I first tuned at 0121. Currently, female voice. Have heard other music.
I’m using my Alinco DX-SR8 Ham Xcvr fed by a 10-40 EFHW oriented East and West.
Of course, with the frequency and close proximity, signal is fading but, should be much better later, as well as farther away. I haven’t done this in MANY years!! I just opened an email from The SWLing Post, read about the program, and had to try. Thanks for rekindling an Old Spirit.
Happy Birthday TEXAS!!!
