Many thanks to SWLing Post contributor Dan Greenall, who writes:
Bangkok Meteorological Radio in Thailand broadcasts marine weather several times a day on 6765.1 and 8743 kHz USB in both Thai and English. An interval tune is played between the Thai and English segments that has left me trying to put a name to it for nearly a week as I play it over and over in my head. There seems to be a vague resemblance to “Love Me Tender” by the late Elvis Presley but now I’m looking for help. Can anyone “Name That Tune”?
Here is a recording made on October 9 around 1300 hours UTC using the LA6LU KiwiSDR in Thailand. Have Fun!

Sorry, I forgot to post the YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miJXqm28uuc
I ran the recording through Shazam. It seems to be a Swiss folk song called The Song of Weggis. There are many versions of it on YouTube. Here’s one that I found entertaining!
Yes, you are right! https://www-volksliederarchiv-ch.translate.goog/lieder/vo-lozaern-gaege-weggis-zue/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=de&_x_tr_pto=wapp
It’s always been “Love Me Tender” to me, hi.
Even Google Assistant had trouble with this one. Eventually, Stay Awake by Marla Dust came up.
It’s not the tune, but at 1:53, it does sound like this recording.
Crazy!

I think that’s the tune: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n7OoWp_dfKA&pp=0gcJCR4Bo7VqN5tD
Yes, I think that’s it. Now all I need is the translation LOL
Thanks, Michael. I heard it. Sounds just like my recording right at the end for the last several seconds.
Sorry, it was the one Rob sent that had the short clip at the end
