Very fascinating video of a “mini” spy transceiver of the days of yore. Too bad little was mentioned about the components used in the transmitter. The only surprise was that an incandescent bulb was used instead of a sturdier gas discharge bulb. It’s been a very long time since I actually used a neon bulb, would the decay rate be too slow compared to incandescent? The voltage too low?
