Many thanks to SWLing Post contributor and noted political cartoonist, Carlos Latuff, who shares yet another example of his radio log art, this time for The Voice of Korea.
Carlos notes:
Voice of Korea, 9650 kHz, broadcasting in Japanese from Kujang, North Korea.
Newsletter: Kim Jong Un watches test of new hypersonic ballistic missile.
Transmission with jamming, probably from South Korea.
Signal captured in Rio de Janeiro, 01/12/2022, 05:07, local time.
I echo Mark’s praise, Carlos. But concerning your comment about jamming — this is self-jamming by Voice of Korea itself. It is commonly heard on most VoK broadcasts and is thought to come from the jamming transmitters co-sited with the VoK transmitters. There are many examples of VoK recordings with accompanying jamming noise in the Shortwave Radio Audio Archive including this one from me:

Keep those cartoons coming.
Thanks a lot for clarifying, Richard.
I love these radio log cartoons, please keep them coming.
That’s the idea, Mark
