WRMI Resumes Broadcasts of Radio Ukraine International
Due to the increased interest in the current situation in Ukraine, WRMI has resumed its relays of the daily English language broadcast of Radio Ukraine International, the official overseas service of Ukrainian Radio. RUI can be heard daily, except Friday, at 1200-1230 UTC on 5010 kHz.
Are they online in English? Shortwave is not possible to be heard in Midwest US.
Tried listening this morning, , poor reception, Delaware, USA ?
il y a des emissions en Français ?
WRMI transmitter 14 on 5010 kHz is directed at 181° toward the Caribbean. Not well recieved in the Continental US.
I mean, it’s a nice gesture, but what good does this broadcast do? It’s not as if there are many Ukraine expats in the Caribbean.
Listening to history unfold live is part and parcel of traditional SWL’ing. I will try listening.
