Noticed a Sony CRF-320 being used as prop in a 1982 episode of “Taxi” (Season 4 Episode 11), See captured enhanced attached photo [above].

Thank you for sharing this, Dave! Wow! What a classy radio to have as a prop on display in Taxi! Great catch!
Some studio exec bought a new radio and by using it as a prop gained a tax write-off on the purchase price.
Lloyd as iggy was my favorite character in TAXI.
and the desk microphone was a Shure 444 which I owned and used several years ago, a pretty darn good desk mic, I’ll add 😀 if you need a robust and good mic for your rig, and find one of those in good conditions and with the original mic capsule, go for it !
