As I walk around the Dayton Hamvention, I’m finding a lot of familiar faces from the shortwave radio community. In the North Hall, I came across non other than Bob Crane with C.Crane Radio. We had a nice chat about their CCradio SW–one of my favorites for simplicity of operation and excellent audio fidelity.

Yep it was cool to see C.Crane at Hamvention this year. I bought that very same demo radio in your picture on Sunday. At almost half price…. had to try it out. I am more interesting in MW AM for this kind of package. I asked about audio fidelity compared to the GE Super Radio III. The answer was it’s better. I doubted that. But now believe it to be true. SWL bands are also amazingly decent even with nasty local QRM.
