That’s a brilliant discovery!
FLDigi, EasyPal and other digital Mode software allows you to broadcast a message in the Waterfall. Hams do it as a matter of course (sending their callsign), usually at the beginning of sending a SLOWSCAN TV message.
Ha ha yeah, they often do it at the start and end of the broadcast. I think it’s pretty cool. I’ve seen hams do this as well after certain digital transmissions. Sure would like to know how they do it!
