I received the Satellit today, eight calendar days days after ordering. It was shipped UPS ground to California. Four Eneloop AA batteries are now installed and I’m starting to play with it. New radios are always fun. The Radio World Canada sale is still up on eBay.
Thanks Troy and SWLing Post! This is a very nice deal on the Eton Grundig Edition Satellit. I ordered one today. This radio is a favorite of Clint of Oxford Shortwave Log. The total price including UPS shipping was actually $116.27 USD after the PayPal currency conversion fee. This radio ships from a US warehouse for US orders. After enough time to master Satellit operation (quickie evaluations are never very useful) I will probably do some comparative review videos with my 2015 Sangean ATS-909X and post them on my You Tube channel Willow Slough DX. I’m particularly interested in the SW receiver section but will compare all features to some degree.
