While listening to my recording of yesterday’s Unique Radio broadcast over WINB, I noticed that the Radio Hobart International segment featured the second of a three-part interval signals special. ‘Hobart Radio Int’ have never had a SW transmitter so they’ve never been a radio station in any sense. Unique Radio at least had some short lived low powered transmissions. Hopefully they can come back on air with their own equipment. Even if it is just a handful of watts.
My favorite was Radio Austria International’s interval signal which was a few bars of “Blue Danube.” Those interval signals of old are truly missed.
