When I was having lunch with them (French Service) on Monday. Within RTI people were laughing at this, Because the 30 minute Russian program from RTI only has news about Taiwan.

The decision was made to do this to appease the DPP and the Tsai administration who is planning to cut their budget for 2022/23. The Tsai administration is using what the Russians are doing in Ukraine for their own propaganda for the upcoming midterm elections.
