DW has been slowly cutting back over the last 15 years… they had english on shortwave far longer than most.
I also have similar observations, I had been trying to tune in to dw Hausa for quite sum time before I realised that dw Hausa were no longer transmitting on local radio .pls we need to know and why ? Dw Hausa radio over the decades have been making significant contributions towards enlightenment education and entertainment to their teeming listeners.
