More Wrenaissance on shortwave

Hi all SWLing post community, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know of our next episode of renaissance music radio across the shortwaves this weekend thanks to WRMI.

This Sunday 6th November 2022 from 2300 utc on 9395 kHz there will be another transmission of WREN and in keeping with last week’s show they’ll be much more modal music and to quote Wikipedia, more “Harmony that places a greater concern on the smooth flow of the music and its progression of chords.” Tune in and enjoy another journey way back into time.

Hi all the SWLing post community from Fastradioburst23. Also a big hi goes out to all birdwatchers out there as the next programmme in the Imaginary Stations series is WREN featuring a transmission of a winged bias.

Expect music featuring our feathered friends and live streaming of birdsong on 9395 kHz from 2200 utc on Sunday 23rd October 2022 via WRMI. So get the bins on (birdwatcher parlance for binoculars), settle down in your favourite patch and tune in!

Hi SWLing post people worldwide, this weekend WRLD takes to the air in the imaginary station series. The transmission will be on air on 9395 kHz from 2200 utc on Sunday 2nd October 2022 via the services of WRMI. Expect some wonderful tunes from all around this magical globe of ours. Hi SWLing post community, hope you are all well. This weekend there’s another in the Imaginary Stations series, this time the return of KFOG. The transmission will be on air on 9395 kHz from 2200 utc on Sunday 4th September 2022. Expect tunes in a nautical style. It will feature “music from out of the mist” as they say at KFOG HQ. Hi all the SWLing post community. Fingers crossed all stops will be pulled out this weekend via WRMI with the broadcast of TOOTS vs WELK. This programme in the Imaginary stations series will be a showdown of music from Toots Thielemans in the left hand corner and the great Lawrence Welk in the right. The transmission will be on air on 9395 kHz from 2200 utc on Sunday 28th August 2022. Tune in for a great musical encounter!

Hi everyone to everyone in SWLing Post land, this Sunday we’ve another old-time treat for you thanks to the good folks at WRMI. WTAB will be “Transmitting by the magic of wireless” on 9395 kHz at 2200 utc on Sunday 7th August 2022.

Like last week’s KTAB, the show will feature music from yesteryear and as the flyer says “It’s not just a different letter, it’s a different time…” Tune in for more shortwave time travelling! Fastradioburst23
