Hi to all of the SWLing community worldwide, Fastradioburst23 here with news about Imaginary Stations on the shortwaves this Sunday 27th August 2023. Our next show Skybird Radio International will be beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz (and 3975 kHz). Remember the good olde days with a lovely cup of tea

Hi to all of the SWLing community, Fastradioburst23 here with news about Imaginary Stations on the shortwaves this Sunday 20th August 2023. The first show will be beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz and will feature another transmission of WREN, this time it’s music of a Renaissance style, so turn back the hands of time to ye days of olde and tune in. You will get more out of the broadcast if you have a lute, recorder or a harpsichord handy.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz  via WRMI we bring you the debut of WTBR, your only official tea and biscuits radio show. There will an assortment of plain and fancy tunes and all the tea you can drink so make yourself (a tea) cosy and enjoy a nice relaxing time via the shortwaves. Even the Ionosphere will enjoy a little tea break to recharge its batteries.

An exotic bird flew into a supermarket…

Hi to all our radio friends in SWLing Post land, Fastradioburst23 here hoping to not ruffle any feathers with news about Imaginary Stations on the radio this Sunday 13th August 2023. The first show will be beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz and will feature our feathered friends with WREN. We will bring you some bird related classics and birdsong. Binoculars and a note-pad are mandatory for this broadcast.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz  via WRMI we have a back to school special edition of KMRT. This show is part of the ongoing “Supermarkets on Shortwave” events and we will do our best to have as many centre aisle and Blue Light specials as we possibly can. The broadcast will also feature a Supermarket Security Guard Choir and the National Greengrocer’s Association with a fruit juggling exhibition (*subject to availability). The deep blue sea and trains this weekend on shortwave

Hi SWLing post community, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about this weekend’s Imaginary Stations shows on shortwaves this Sunday 6th August 2023. The first show will be  beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz and will be the debut of KSEA. It’s an ocean themed mix special so grab a waterproof jacket and a radio (with marine band on it of course) and go on a seaward journey with us.

Then later on at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz  via WRMI we have CTRN for all locomotive fans. We’ll be playing all sorts of songs about stations, signals and rolling stock. Remember to leave any baggage in the guard’s van with your name and address clearly marked on the label before going to your alloted seat. We will be coming around with the buffet trolley so we need to keep the walkways clear. Please enjoy your trip and remember to take all of your belongings with you when you leave the train. The first show will be  beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz and will be the debut of Skybird Radio International. Expect tunes in a global style.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz  via WRMI is WSFR (Swiss Family Robinson/Lost Island Radio). Imagine you’re listening to the portable on a deserted island of your choice with all amenities provided. Tune in and let the imagination flow.

Everything is COOL on shortwave

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a couple of instances of the Imaginary Station COOL on the shortwaves this Sunday 23rd July 2023. The first show will be  beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz.

From mountains and libraries, music connects us all

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a couple of transmissions on the shortwaves this Sunday 16th July 2023. The first show will be KNTS (Kearsarge North Transmission Service) from the Imaginary stations crew beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz. Expect lots of shortwave and ham related sounds and a couple of instrumentals containing CW.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz the great Shortwave Music Library returns via WRMI. DJ Frederick digs through his across the board record collection taking a few requests, pulling out some tunes and giving them an airing over the shortwaves.
