Why modulators modulate regularly and CBRG

Good day all SWLing Post readers, FastRadioBurst 23 here letting you know what the Imaginary Stations crew will be bringing to the airways this coming week.

We’ve another WMMR, Mystery Mix Radio show on Saturday December 7th 2024 at 1200 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and repeated on Sunday December 8th 2024 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and also at 2100 UTC on 3975 kHz via the services of Shortwave Gold.  As usual it is a show of an unknown theme that listeners will have to guess what it is. There even may be a clue contained in this text but then again there may not be. So tune in with your pen and pad and a magnifying glass at the ready in full Sherlock Holmes attire and see if you can guess this week’s theme.

Then on Wednesday December 11th 2024 at 0300 UTC via WRMI we have the return of CBRG. Welcome to the sound of Seeburg, AKA the might mellow. Here’s a little taster for you:

More radio of the worldwide kind

Hi all SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here. This week, the Imaginary Stations crew bring you another Skybird Radio International episode featuring a celebration of International music. This show will be beamed to Europe by Shortwave Gold on Sunday 17th December 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and then on 3975 kHz at 2100 UTC. 

Then on early Monday 18th December we have a WRMI edition of the show at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz. Prepare to be transported to the far flung corners of the world on both shows.

More radio of the imaginary kind

Hi all SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here. This week the Imaginary Stations crew bring you WS12S featuring a celebration of the twelve inch single. This show will be beamed to Europe by Shortwave Gold on Sunday 10th December 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and then on 3975 kHz at 2100 UTC. Expect some special extended mixes remixed by the ionosphere.

Then on early Monday 11th December via the transmitters of WRMI we have CBRG at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz. More about CBRG below:

Seasonal Seeburg on shortwave
