English language broadcasts did not really have high priority at DW. My wife is Kenyan and we have been to Kenya 4-5 times the past years. DW english was either very early in the mornings or late in the evenings, African East Coast local time, so for those working and going to bed before 22:00 local time, it was not really an option to listen to DW.
I wrote a complaining letter to DW some years ago explaining that fact and also got a reply, but no improvements…..
