There’s a seven inch single sale down the supermarket

Hi all SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here. This week on the shortwave dial via the Imaginary Stations crew we have WS7S featuring a celebration of the humble seven inch single. This show will be beamed to Europe by Shortwave Gold on Sunday 26th November 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and then on 3975 kHz at 2100 UTC. Tune in for those platters that matter.

Then on early Monday 27th November via the transmitters of WRMI we have the return of KMRT at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz. Expect a host of Blue Light specials, amazing one-off deals and a supermarket staff choir giving it their all, if all goes well. Tune in because as they say, “When it’s gone, it’s GONE!”

Libraries are ACE

Hi all SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here. Firstly thanks to all our listeners over the past few months for your interest in our shows. It’s great to hear that you’re liking our programmes and ta for your suggestions for forthcoming episodes.

This week on the shortwave dial we have Radio Ace (3) featuring more of the Adventures of Flash Frisbone ACE DJ. This show is beamed to Europe via Shortwave Gold on Sunday 19th November 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and 2100 UTC on 3975 kHz.

Then on Monday 20th November via the transmitters of WRMI we have the return of The Shortwave Music Library at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz and then at 0400 UTC on 9455 kHz. DJ Frederick looks through his record collection and pulls out some eclectic tunes. Tune in!

Skybird goes worldwide again

Good day all SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here bringing you news of this week’s Imaginary Stations transmissions. Beamed to Europe via Shortwave Gold on Sunday 12th November 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and 2100 UTC on 3975 kHz, we have a special Peruvian Edition of Skybird Radio International. Expect some wonderful music in a true South American style.

A few hours later in the early hours  of Monday 13th November via the transmitters of WRMI we have a different episode of Skybird Radio International at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz and then repeated at 0400 UTC on 9455 kHz. Tune in chill out and listen to the sound of this world of ours.

Blue light specials are ACE

Good day all the SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here bringing you news of this week’s Imaginary Stations transmissions. Beamed to Europe via Shortwave Gold on Sunday 5th November 2023 at 1000/1400 hrs UTC on 6160 kHz and 2100 UTC on 3975 kHz, we have Radio Ace (2) featuring the further Adventures of Flash Frisbone. If you loved the last episode, you’ll love this one!

A few hours later via the transmitters of WRMI on Monday 6th November we have the return of the Blue light shortwave special and the only official supermarket radio show, KMRT at 0300 UTC on 9395 kHz and then repeated at 0400 UTC on 9455 kHz.

This show is for all the shoppers out there and as usual expect centre aisle specials and “once in a lifetime” bargains. For maximum effect please listen through a supermarket type PA system and do remember “When it’s gone, IT’S GONE!” (until the next time).

Who puts the bins out?

A big hi to all the SWLing Post Community, FastRadioBurst 23 here bringing you news of this week’s Imaginary Stations transmissions. We have two different shows of KBIN, the first on Sunday 29th October 2023 at 2100 hrs UTC on 3975 & 6160 kHz.

A few hours later via the transmitters of WRMI on Monday 30th October we have the second programme. The broadcast is at 0200 UTC on 9395 kHz and then repeated at 0300 UTC on 9455 kHz. We’ve got more recycled radio for you including mixes from some of our Imaginary Stations favourite shows so tune in and catch yourself another great value for money transmission this weekend!
