It needs a better quality vfo knob with finger dimple , I do portable a lot , it would be a hefty price importing into Ireland taxes and all that , what I would like to see is a cw version ( may be a replacement for k1) wth not a lot of fancy features at a more economical price range ! It looks well.
You should check out the Elecraft KX1–it’s a great little CW rig and can even receive some of the broadcast bands. I’ve had mine for, perhaps, 8 years?
Can anyone confirm if the KX2 has an IQ output socket?
Plenty references to its SDR architecture, but does not mention an IQ port?
Still impressive spec for the size though.
