Imaginary shortwave stations this weekend

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a the Imaginary Stations schedule on the shortwaves this Sunday 30th July 2023. The first show will be  beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz and will be the debut of Skybird Radio International. Expect tunes in a global style.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz  via WRMI is WSFR (Swiss Family Robinson/Lost Island Radio). Imagine you’re listening to the portable on a deserted island of your choice with all amenities provided. Tune in and let the imagination flow.

Everything is COOL on shortwave

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a couple of instances of the Imaginary Station COOL on the shortwaves this Sunday 23rd July 2023. The first show will be  beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz.

From mountains and libraries, music connects us all

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a couple of transmissions on the shortwaves this Sunday 16th July 2023. The first show will be KNTS (Kearsarge North Transmission Service) from the Imaginary stations crew beamed to Europe via the services of Shortwave Gold in Germany at 2000 utc on 6160 khz. Expect lots of shortwave and ham related sounds and a couple of instrumentals containing CW.

Then later at 2200 hrs UTC on 9395 kHz the great Shortwave Music Library returns via WRMI. DJ Frederick digs through his across the board record collection taking a few requests, pulling out some tunes and giving them an airing over the shortwaves. Dub and trumpets

Hi all SWLing post readers. This weekend on Imaginary Stations via WRMI will be a KDUB v Radio Clarion special. We’ll be playing some dub, some trumpets and maybe some dub with trumpets. X-Raydio transmitting to Europe

Hi all, Fastradioburst23 here letting you know about a transmission on the shortwaves from the Imaginary Stations Crew via Shortwave Gold from Germany this Sunday 9th July 2023 at 2000 utc on 6160 khz.

X-Raydio will explore audio from unusual musical formats and will feature a piece on Bone Music by Stephen Coates from The Real Tuesday Weld (who hosts a great radio show called The Bureau of Lost Culture on Soho Radio, London) and also a flexi disc mix by Shane Quentin (from the excellent The Garden of the Earthly Delights show on CRMK). Tune in your shortwave radio (or an online SDR) to X-Raydio this Sunday for something a little bit different!

Hi all the SWLing post community. All stops will be pulled out again this weekend with the broadcast of TOOTS vs WELK in a 2023 style via WRMI. This Imaginary stations episode will be a showdown of music from Toots Thielemans in the left hand studio and the great Lawrence Welk in the right.
